Many people associate Texas Tales with long, drawn out stories with an edge on the fantastic, bordering on impossible. While this is often a valid evaluation, many Texas Tales have their roots in solid, verifiable truth. For instance, I am a descendant of Texas cattleman and Texas Rangers founder, Charles Goodnight. It’s true that I’m a descendant, but I’m not so sure about his founding the Texas Rangers.

My great-great-grandfather was an east Texas sheriff who once shot a man that made improper advances to his daughter, my great-grandmother.

…or something like that.

When Elvis Presley would come to see the best magician in Dallas TX, the Jordanaires would visit my house, since I had two sisters who were big fans.

So, as you can see, I have a few Texas Tales to share. I hope you visit often, and link to me if you would.
